Debt Collection Specialist


As a Debt Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting outstanding debts from clients. You will work closely with the finance team to identify delinquent accounts and develop strategies for debt recovery. Your main duties will include making phone calls and sending emails to clients, negotiating payment plans, and maintaining accurate records of all collection activities.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills to join our team in Dubrovnik. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in debt collection or a related field, as well as a strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Contact clients to discuss payment options and negotiate repayment plans
- Monitor and follow up on delinquent accounts using appropriate methods
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner, both verbally and in writing
- Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the debt collection process
- Work closely with the finance team to develop effective debt recovery strategies

Requirements:
- Previous experience in debt collection or a related field
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)

Salary: 1500$ per month

Location: Dubrovnik, Croatia (accommodation may be provided)
