Information Security Analyst - Atlanta, GA, USA


We are hiring an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of information security principles, as well as experience in risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response. As our Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying potential security threats, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security measures to protect our company's sensitive information. You will also be responsible for monitoring our systems for any suspicious activity and responding to any security incidents that may arise. The position offers a competitive salary of $1000 per month and includes benefits such as accommodation and a free visa and ticket for non-local candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in our systems
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect company data
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity or potential threats
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner, including containment and resolution
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends in order to proactively prevent future attacks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new security measures or address any identified vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular audits of our systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Train employees on best practices for information security awareness

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience working in information security or a similar role
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security tools
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and vulnerability management processes
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA or GDPR is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are a plus
