Part-Time Information Security Analyst

As a Part-Time Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the organization's data and information systems from potential threats and breaches. This role is based in Faro and offers a salary of 1600$.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and investigate security incidents and breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement security measures to protect against cyber attacks
- Develop and maintain information security policies and procedures
- Train employees on best practices for data protection
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and technologies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with security standards
- Perform risk assessments and create contingency plans for potential incidents

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in information security or a related role
- Knowledge of network security, encryption methods, firewalls, etc.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, etc.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
