Copywriter (Contract) - Oslo, Norway

As a contract copywriter in our dynamic and innovative company, you will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging content for various platforms. You will work closely with our marketing and design teams to develop written materials that effectively communicate our brand message and drive customer engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled writer with a passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of marketing principles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create high-quality written content for various marketing channels including website, social media, email campaigns, and print materials
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and messaging strategies
- Conduct thorough research on industry trends, target audience, and competitors to inform content development
- Ensure all written materials adhere to brand guidelines and are consistent in tone and voice
- Edit and proofread all written content to ensure accuracy, grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Work closely with designers to ensure visual elements effectively complement the written content
- Meet project deadlines while managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a copywriter or in a similar role
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt style and tone based on target audience
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing principles and best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience conducting research on industry trends, target audience, and competitors
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in an agency setting is a plus
- Familiarity with SEO principles is an asset
- Understanding of UX design principles is an advantage

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Oslo, Norway (remote work may be considered)
