Software Tester

As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our company's software products. Your main duties will include creating and executing test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. You will also be responsible for writing test cases and maintaining testing documentation. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for software testing. This is a full-time position based in Eschen, without accommodation provided. Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities:
- Create and execute test plans to ensure the quality of software products
- Identify, report, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
- Maintain testing documentation including test plans, procedures, and results
- Perform regression testing to ensure previously fixed bugs do not reappear
- Continuously improve the testing process by implementing new tools or techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Software Tester or similar role
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and processes
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or C++ is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with developers and other team members
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary: $1700 per month

Location: Eschen, Kenya (open to non-Kenyan applicants)

Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
