A prominent IT company in Balzers is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that all database systems are running efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring database software and servers
- Monitoring database performance and troubleshooting issues
- Ensuring data security and integrity through regular backups and disaster recovery plans
- Planning and implementing data migration, upgrades, and patches
- Collaborating with development team to optimize database design for maximum performance
- Writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval and reporting purposes
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as index rebuilds, data purges, and space management
- Assisting in capacity planning to anticipate future database growth

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Advanced knowledge of SQL language and scripting languages (such as Python or Perl)
- Proficiency in database management tools (e.g. Oracle, MySQL)
- Experience with database security protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Balzers, but we are open to candidates from any nationality.
