Part-Time Mason in Porto


We are seeking a skilled mason to join our team in Porto on a part-time basis. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and sidewalks using various materials including brick, stone, and concrete. This position requires experience in the masonry field and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate should also have strong attention to detail and the ability to follow construction plans and specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Construct and repair structures using brick, stone, concrete or other materials
- Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints or plans
- Cut or break bricks, stones or blocks to size
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using hand tools
- Use levels, rulers, plumb lines, and straightedges to ensure accuracy
- Follow safety procedures when handling equipment and materials
- Clean up job sites after completing work

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mason
- Ability to read construction plans and specifications
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Porto.
