Automotive Mechanic in Bungoma, Kenya

Are you a skilled mechanic with experience in automotive repair? Do you have a passion for troubleshooting and fixing vehicles? We are seeking a motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and tune-ups
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various types of vehicles
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify problems and recommend solutions
- Perform vehicle inspections to identify any potential issues
- Communicate with customers to explain necessary repairs and provide estimates
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive mechanic
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and how they work
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently

Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE certification or equivalent training/education
- Experience working on diesel engines or heavy-duty vehicles
- Proficiency in welding or fabrication

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent. The company will provide accommodation for the selected candidate.
