Part-time Land Surveyor

As the part-time land surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting accurate and precise surveys of land and construction sites. Your main duties will include utilizing various surveying equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and laser scanners to collect data, analyzing data and creating detailed reports and maps using specialized software.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience as a land surveyor and possess excellent knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment. A degree or certification in land surveying or related field is also required. Proficiency in specialized software such as AutoCAD and Trimble Business Center is preferred.

This position requires strong communication skills as you will be working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects. Attention to detail is crucial as even the smallest error can have significant consequences on the outcome of a project.

The ideal candidate should also be physically fit as this job involves walking long distances, carrying heavy equipment, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. You must also possess a valid driver's license.
