Head Pastry Chef in Al-Malikiyah, Syria


We are in search of a highly skilled and passionate Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Al-Malikiyah, Syria. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pastry department and creating delicious and visually appealing pastries for our customers. Your creativity, attention to detail, and strong leadership skills will be essential to the success of our pastry department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new and innovative pastry recipes while also maintaining existing ones
- Supervise a team of pastry chefs and assistants
- Train new staff members on proper techniques and recipes
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control for the pastry department
- Ensure all pastries are prepared according to our high-quality standards
- Monitor food safety and sanitation practices within the pastry department
- Collaborate with other chefs to create dessert menus that complement the overall menu offerings
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into our pastry offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Head Pastry Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety procedures
- Creativity and passion for creating visually appealing pastries that taste as good as they look
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food cost control procedures
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends

Education:
A degree or diploma from a recognized culinary school is preferred but not required. Relevant experience will also be considered.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month based on experience and qualifications.
