Welder (Part Time)
Location: Svalbard, Norway
Salary: $1300 per month



We are looking for a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team on a part-time basis in Svalbard, Norway. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to join and repair metal parts. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for welding and is looking for flexible working hours.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine welding methods and techniques
- Operate welding equipment such as gas or arc welders to weld metal parts
- Inspect welded joints and conduct quality control checks to ensure they meet specifications
- Clean, maintain, and repair welding equipment as needed
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents or injury
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and drawings
- Familiarity with different welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, ARC, etc.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Physical stamina to work in various positions for extended periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid welding certification is preferred but not required
- Previous experience working in the manufacturing or construction industry is a plus
