Head Chef


We are a high-end restaurant located in the bustling city of Beer-Sheva and we are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our menu, managing inventory and ordering supplies, training and supervising kitchen staff, maintaining high levels of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, and ensuring that all dishes meet our standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and execute our menu, including developing new dishes and updating existing ones
- Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
- Train, supervise, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow
- Oversee food preparation, cooking techniques, portion control, presentation, and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and menu pricing decisions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, ingredients, and plating presentations
- Ability to create innovative dishes while also maintaining quality standards for traditional recipes
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining cleanliness in a commercial kitchen
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with management on menu planning and budgeting decisions

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Experience working in international or multicultural environments is preferred

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this position. Benefits and bonuses will be discussed during the interview process.

City/Country:
This position is located in Beer-Sheva, Israel. While English proficiency is not required, proficiency in Hebrew or Arabic is preferred. We welcome candidates from all nationalities to apply.
