Indian Chef in Beer-Sheva
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Beer-Sheva. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking traditional Indian dishes, as well as creating new and innovative menu items. You should have a strong knowledge of different Indian spices and ingredients, as well as techniques for cooking and presenting authentic Indian cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes
- Create new and innovative menu items based on traditional recipes
- Ensure high quality and consistency in all dishes served
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and place orders when needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures where possible
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Indian Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills to train and supervise kitchen staff
- Excellent time-management skills to ensure timely preparation of dishes
- Food safety certification is preferred
Salary: $1600/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Beer-Sheva, Israel (open to candidates of any nationality)
