Land Surveyor
A reputable surveying firm in Svalbard is seeking a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is suitable for individuals who are passionate about surveying and have strong attention to detail.
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting accurate measurements and collecting data on various land properties. Your duties will include using specialized equipment such as GPS, total stations, and robotic instruments to accurately determine boundaries, elevations, and dimensions of land.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in surveying or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in land surveying. Additionally, you must have strong mathematical skills, proficiency with computer-aided design (CAD) software, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys to collect data on land properties
- Use specialized equipment such as GPS, total stations, and robotic instruments
- Analyze collected data to determine boundaries, elevations, and dimensions of land
- Create detailed maps and reports using CAD software
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Keep accurate records of all surveys conducted
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying
- Proficiency with CAD software
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
Working as a Land Surveyor at our firm offers competitive pay of $900 per month and the opportunity to work flexible hours. This position does not include accommodation but is suitable for men who are physically fit and able to work in various outdoor conditions.
