Junior Civil Engineer - Akron, USA


We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Civil Engineer to join our team in Akron, USA. As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning, design, and construction of various civil engineering projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience looking to gain hands-on experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of engineering drawings and designs using AutoCAD or other software
- Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and assess project needs
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop project plans and strategies
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to team members and clients
- Ensure that all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
- Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD or Microstation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or co-op experience in civil engineering field
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Akron area

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
