Position: Pastry Chef
Location: Oslo, Norway
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Oslo. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious pastries, desserts, and other baked goods. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for baking while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of high-quality pastries, desserts, and other baked goods according to recipes and standards
- Ensure all products are consistently presented to meet customer expectations
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to maintain stock levels
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of different baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Creative flair and attention to detail in presentation of pastries
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate junior staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Education:
A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent is preferred. However, relevant work experience will also be considered.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month, based on qualifications and experience.
