Part-Time Preservation Architect
Location: Svalbard, Norway
Salary: 1100$ per month


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Preservation Architect to join our team in Svalbard, Norway. As a part-time employee, you will work on a flexible schedule, contributing your expertise to various preservation projects.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans and budgets for historic buildings and sites
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and government agencies to ensure compliance with preservation guidelines and regulations
- Oversee restoration and renovation projects, including materials selection and construction monitoring
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all preservation work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Prior experience in preservation or conservation work is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of local or national historic preservation laws and regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other architectural design software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
