Senior Android Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Oslo, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality, user-friendly Android applications. As a senior member of the team, you will also provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Android development
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Kotlin programming language
- Knowledge of iOS development or cross-platform development frameworks such as React Native or Flutter

Salary:
This is a contract job with a competitive salary of 1700$ per week.

Location:
This position is based in Oslo, Norway. While we prefer candidates who are already located in Oslo or nearby areas, we are open to considering candidates from other locations who are willing to relocate.
