We are seeking an experienced Typesetter to join our team in Svalbard. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and laying out text and images for various print and digital publications. This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available, and is suitable for men or women.

Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text and images according to design specifications
- Ensure consistency in font styles, sizes, and layouts throughout the publication
- Use software programs such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress to create digital layouts
- Review drafts for errors in spelling, grammar, or formatting
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to ensure high-quality final products

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress software programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of printing processes and file preparation for print production preferred

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.

Location:
This job is located in Svalbard, Norway. While preference will be given to local candidates, we are open to considering applicants from other locations who are willing to relocate at their own expense.
