Construction Manager
We are in need of an experienced Construction Manager to oversee our projects in Nakuru. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of our construction projects. Your main goal will be to ensure that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans and schedules, and manage resources accordingly
- Oversee the hiring and management of subcontractors and laborers
- Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to schedule
- Review and approve project designs, materials, and construction methods
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members regarding project updates
- Prepare cost estimates and monitor project budgets
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)
