Elevator Technician
As an Elevator Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining elevators and other vertical transportation systems. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work with complex machinery. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure the safety and functionality of elevators in various buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Install new elevators according to specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with existing elevator systems
- Conduct routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety
- Test elevator controls and safety devices
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with engineers to develop solutions for complex issues
- Train new technicians on elevator maintenance procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an elevator technician or similar role
- Excellent technical skills with knowledge of elevator mechanics, electrical systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to work at heights and in confined spaces
Preferred:
- Certification or training in elevator installation/repair
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Balzers, Liechtenstein
