Computer Support Specialist

A computer support specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to individuals and organizations who use computer software or equipment. They help solve technical problems, provide advice, and train users on how to utilize technology effectively. As a computer support specialist in Lahore, you will be responsible for ensuring that all computer systems function properly and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and support to users via phone, email or in person
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, or network problems
- Install, configure and maintain computer systems
- Set up new user accounts and profiles
- Train users on new software or equipment
- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Knowledge of hardware, software, networking and operating systems such as Windows and Mac OS
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in simple terms
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
