Metal Fabricator/ Welder

As a Metal Fabricator/ Welder in our company, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing metal structures and equipment using various welding techniques. Your primary role will be to interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to fabricate metal parts based on specifications. You will also be required to operate welding equipment and use hand tools to cut, shape, and smooth metal surfaces.

In this role, you must have a strong understanding of different types of metals and their properties in order to select the appropriate materials for each project. You must also be skilled in using different welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding. The ability to read technical drawings and follow safety protocols is essential.

To be successful in this position, you must have at least 2 years of experience as a Metal Fabricator/ Welder. A certification or diploma in welding or a related field is preferred but not required. You should also possess good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Reading blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications
- Cutting, shaping, and smoothing metal surfaces using hand tools
- Operating welding equipment to join metal parts together
- Conducting quality checks on finished products
- Maintaining a safe working environment by following safety regulations
