Architectural Designer in Svalbard


We are seeking a skilled Architectural Designer to join our team in Svalbard. As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating plans for various construction projects, including residential and commercial buildings. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure that the design meets their needs and adheres to safety regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for the project
- Create detailed drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Stay updated on building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations
- Work closely with engineers to ensure structural integrity of the design
- Oversee the progress of construction projects and make necessary adjustments to the design as needed
- Communicate effectively with contractors to ensure that the project is completed according to the design plans
- Conduct site visits to assess potential locations for new projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Architectural Designer
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations

Salary:
1200$ per month

Location:
Svalbard (Relocation assistance may be provided for non-native applicants)
