Executive Chef
As an Executive Chef at our fine dining restaurant in Muharraq, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. You must have extensive experience in high-end culinary establishments and a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Oversee food preparation to ensure high quality and consistency
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and assigning duties
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes and concepts
- Maintain financial records related to food costs and budgeting
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining setting
- Creative mindset with a passion for food and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent; Culinary degree preferred
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus
