Junior Android Developer

As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with our team of experienced developers to design and implement new features, as well as debug and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise. Your role will also involve conducting code reviews, writing unit tests, and optimizing app performance. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Java and Android Studio, as well as knowledge of modern mobile development practices. A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with new technologies is highly desirable.

Salary: $1600 per month

City: Longyearbyen, Svalbard (preference for candidates with biometric passport)

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in Java and Android Studio
- Familiarity with Kotlin is a plus
- Knowledge of modern mobile development practices such as MVVM or MVP architecture
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Passion for learning new technologies and keeping up with industry trends
- Excellent communication skills
