Plasterboard Worker

We are in need of a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in the US. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard walls and ceilings in residential and commercial buildings. This is a contract position with a salary of $900 per week.

Responsibilities:

- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit walls and ceilings
- Install plasterboard using screws or adhesive
- Finish seams, joints, and corners using taping compound and tape
- Sand down rough areas to create a smooth surface
- Patch any holes or imperfections in the plasterboard
- Follow safety procedures while working on scaffolding or ladders
- Communicate with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the finished product

Requirements:

- Prior experience working as a Plasterboard Worker preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials
- Willingness to work on contract basis with accommodation provided
- Valid construction safety certification is a plus
