As a Florist in Svalbard, you will be responsible for creating and arranging beautiful floral displays for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and other special events. You will use your creativity and expertise to design unique arrangements that will bring joy to our customers.

Your main duties will include selecting and purchasing flowers from suppliers, caring for them appropriately, and creating stunning bouquets and centerpieces. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the flower shop.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong eye for detail and color coordination, as well as excellent communication skills to understand the customer's preferences. You should also have a good understanding of different types of flowers and their care requirements.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience working as a florist in a busy environment. A degree or certification in floral design is preferred but not required. Knowledge of different floristry techniques such as wiring, binding, and bow making is also highly desirable.

In addition to your creative skills, you must also possess strong physical stamina as the job requires standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy buckets of water and flowers, as well as using sharp tools safely.

We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month with accommodation provided. As we are located in Svalbard, preference will be given to candidates who are open to experiencing the unique culture and lifestyle of this remote Arctic archipelago.
