Milling Machine Operator

We are a well-established manufacturing company located in Nakuru, seeking a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various types of milling machines to produce high-quality products according to specifications. This is a full-time position with competitive salary of 1800$ per month and accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machine set-up and production methods
- Adjust machine settings for different materials and dimensions of workpiece
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and identify any defects or issues
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following company policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of milling machine operation, tooling, materials, and measuring instruments
- Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Good physical condition with ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks
- Must have a valid biometric passport for international travel
