IT Support Specialist

We are currently hiring an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Triesen. As a support specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our clients and ensuring smooth functioning of their computer systems. Your duties will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring software, maintaining network systems, and training end-users on new technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of computer systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. This is a contract position with no accommodation provided. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to clients via phone, email or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate complex problems to senior technicians
- Install and configure software applications and operating systems
- Maintain network systems including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls
- Train end-users on new technology or software updates
- Document all support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and procedures
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems (hardware, software, networks)
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications (e.g. TeamViewer)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Experience working in a customer service-oriented environment is a plus

Salary:
This is a contract position paying $1400 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Triesen but may require occasional travel within the region.
