Instrument Technician for Oil and Gas Industry in Muscat, Oman

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instrumentation equipment in the oil and gas industry.

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- Must have a minimum salary of 1700$
- Must be able to work in Muscat without requiring English language skills
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is not required but preferred
- Accommodation will not be provided
- This position is open to both men and women

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of instrumentation equipment such as pressure gauges, flow meters, level sensors, and temperature probes
- Troubleshoot any issues with equipment and make necessary repairs or replacements
- Calibrate instrumentation equipment according to manufacturer specifications
- Ensure all work is done safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Keep accurate records of all work done on instrumentation equipment
- Communicate effectively with other team members to coordinate work schedules and tasks

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role in a related industry
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits and wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of various types of instrumentation equipment used in the oil and gas industry
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
