Arabic Typesetter


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Arabic Typesetter to join our publishing team in Sheduva. As an Arabic Typesetter, you will be responsible for accurately typesetting and formatting text in the Arabic language for various print and digital publications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Typeset and format text in the Arabic language according to established style guidelines
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of typography, spacing, and layout
- Work closely with editors and designers to meet project deadlines
- Use specialized software and tools to typeset complex layouts, including multi-column text, tables, images, and graphics
- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure all text is correctly translated from English to Arabic
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to typesetting in Arabic language
- Collaborate with translators to ensure proper translation of content into Arabic
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for Arabic typesetting

Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in written and spoken Arabic language
- Experience as a typesetter or graphic designer with a strong focus on typography
- Proficient in using specialized software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of English language is preferred but not required

This is a full-time position offering a salary of $1700 per month. We welcome applications from Egyptian professionals, as well as foreigners who are legally able to work in Sheduva.
