Hotel Sales Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Svalbard. As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase hotel revenue and occupancy. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $1000 per month.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other potential business partners
- Identify new markets and opportunities for sales growth
- Create sales plans and targets to achieve revenue goals
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competition
- Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote the hotel brand
- Prepare sales reports and present them to upper management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Proven experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge of market trends and competitor analysis
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in Svalbard or Arctic regions
- Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Norwegian or Russian
