Hotel Sales Manager


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team at a luxury hotel in Svalbard. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry, and the ability to drive revenue growth through strategic planning and execution. The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for implementing sales strategies, developing relationships with key clients, and managing a team of sales representatives.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase hotel revenue
- Identify potential clients and build strong relationships with them
- Meet or exceed sales targets set by management
- Manage a team of sales representatives and provide guidance and support when needed
- Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape
- Develop pricing strategies in line with market demand and hotel goals
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, client feedback, and other relevant metrics
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other networking events to promote the hotel brand

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management principles, and customer service best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an asset

We offer competitive salary of 1500$ per month plus accommodation provided. This position is open for both local candidates as well as those willing to relocate. Visa sponsorship may also be available for suitable candidates.
