Assistant Surveyor

As an Assistant Surveyor, you will assist the lead surveyor in conducting land surveys and creating accurate maps and measurements. This part-time position is perfect for someone who is interested in gaining experience in the field of surveying and has a passion for precision and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, able to work independently, and have strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist lead surveyor in conducting land surveys using various tools and equipment
- Record accurate measurements and data from surveys
- Create maps and diagrams using collected data
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy of data
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project details
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on site
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Previous experience in surveying or a related field is a plus, but not required
- Proficient in using surveying tools and equipment such as GPS systems, total stations, etc.
- Strong mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Salary: $1200 per month (part-time)

Location: US (preference for local candidates)
