Entry-Level Baker


As an entry-level baker, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced bakers in the preparation and production of various baked goods. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes accurately. Located in the beautiful city of Svalbard, our bakery offers a unique opportunity to work in a stunning location while honing your baking skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes
- Help with shaping and baking dough for breads, pastries, and other baked goods
- Decorate and package finished products for display or sale
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment or handling hot items

Requirements:
- No prior experience as a baker is required, but some basic knowledge of baking techniques is preferred
- Must have a biometric passport for international travel
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and withstand high temperatures in the kitchen
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn from experienced bakers
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a starting salary of $1300 per month with opportunities for growth within the company.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide accommodation for our entry-level bakers at this time. However, we can assist with finding affordable housing options in Svalbard.
