Carpenter (Contract)


A reputable construction company is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in carpentry, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, use various hand and power tools, and work independently or in a team setting. The job will be located in the US, so candidates must either be US citizens or have the legal right to work in the US.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and building plans to determine dimensions and materials needed
- Measure, cut, shape, and join materials made of wood, metal, or other materials using hand and power tools
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, doors, etc.
- Repair or replace damaged frameworks or other structures
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Work independently or in a team setting to complete projects within given deadlines
- Communicate effectively with team members and project managers

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in carpentry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Proficient in using various hand and power tools
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials when necessary
- Must be either a US citizen or have the legal right to work in the US

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Contract Duration:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months. However, there is potential for extension based on performance.
