Indian Executive Chef (Contract Position)


We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team on a contract basis in Acre. As an Indian Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating and developing new menus, managing food costs, and maintaining high levels of food quality and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Create and develop new menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability
- Manage food costs by sourcing quality ingredients at competitive prices
- Ensure high levels of food quality and presentation are maintained at all times
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation and service
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with local health codes
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotional activities

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine including traditional dishes from various regions
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of budgeting, menu planning, inventory management, and cost control techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a similar role
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Hebrew is a plus)

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
