Java Developer for Canadian Company


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our dynamic team in Akron, Canada. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our clients. You will work closely with project managers, designers and other developers to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain software applications using core Java and related technologies
- Collaborate with project managers, designers and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Write clean, efficient and well-documented code following best practices
- Test and debug software applications to ensure they meet functional requirements
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions
- Keep updated with new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our products

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Java development
- Strong knowledge of core Java concepts such as OOP, multithreading, collections, etc.
- Experience with Spring framework is a plus
- Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP) and related technologies (XML/JSON)
- Experience with database design and SQL queries
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary:
