Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Al Ahmadi. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Your primary duties will include preparing financial statements, monitoring budgets, analyzing financial data, and providing guidance to junior accounting staff.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly and yearly basis
- Monitor budgets and financial performance of the company
- Review and approve journal entries, invoices, and other accounting documents
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Identify areas for cost reduction or revenue improvement
- Provide guidance to junior accounting staff
- Conduct regular audits to ensure proper documentation and adherence to policies
- Develop and maintain financial controls to safeguard company assets
- Liaise with external auditors as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 5 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, Quickbooks)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills is a plus)
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one for travel purposes

We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month along with accommodation. This is a full-time position with standard working hours from Monday to Friday.
