Job Title: Crane Operator


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Oslo. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes in a safe and efficient manner. Your main duty will be to lift and move heavy objects, materials, and equipment at construction sites or other locations as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes.
- Inspect crane equipment before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Read and interpret work orders or signals to determine the appropriate lifting method.
- Calculate load weights and ensure that the crane is set up properly to handle the load.
- Maneuver the crane into position over the load using hand signals or radio communication.
- Use hoists, cranes, or other rigging equipment to move materials or equipment as needed.
- Monitor operation of the crane during lifting activities to ensure safety.
- Conduct routine maintenance on the crane and report any malfunctions or damages immediately.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines at all times.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator with a valid operator's license.
- In-depth knowledge of different types of cranes and their operations.
- Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and spatial awareness skills.
- Physical strength and stamina required for operating heavy machinery for extended periods of time.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month. Other benefits may also be provided depending on qualifications and experience.

Location:
This position is located in Oslo but candidates from all nationalities are welcome to apply. However, candidates must have their own visa/work permit in order to be considered for the role.
