Job Title: Part-Time Executive Chef
We are in search of a highly skilled Part-Time Executive Chef to join our team at our restaurant located in Bergen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, perfect for someone looking for work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus according to seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Plan and execute food preparation, ensuring high quality and presentation standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper food handling techniques and sanitary practices
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new dishes and improve existing menu items
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, presentation, and flavor combinations
- Ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed

Salary: $1000 per month (based on experience)
