Quantity Surveyor - Faro, Portugal


As a Quantity Surveyor in Faro, Portugal, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects from initial estimates to final accounts. Your role will involve conducting feasibility studies, preparing tender and contract documents, and monitoring progress and costs throughout the project.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Familiarity with relevant software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost estimation programs
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Biometric passport (preferred)

Responsibilities:
- Conducting feasibility studies to estimate project costs and potential risks
- Preparing detailed tender documents and contracts for submission to contractors and subcontractors
- Negotiating with suppliers and contractors to obtain the best prices for materials and services
- Monitoring project progress and costs, identifying any potential variations or budget overruns
- Preparing interim valuations and final accounts for payment purposes
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project to ensure efficient cost management
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1000$ per month. Accommodation can also be provided if needed.
