Concierge - Hospitality Services (Alta, Norway)
As a Concierge in our luxury hospitality establishment in Alta, Norway, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Your main duty will be to assist guests with their various needs and requests, ensuring that their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with a warm welcome
- Assist with check-in and check-out processes, including luggage handling
- Provide information about local attractions, events, and services
- Make reservations for guests at restaurants, tours, or transportation services
- Arrange for special requests such as room decorations or gifts
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and complaints, resolving issues effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area at all times
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role in the hospitality industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong knowledge of the local area and its attractions
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance with a friendly demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Salary:
