Indian Baker in Eldoret, Kenya


We are seeking an experienced Indian Baker to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a contract employee, you will be responsible for creating a variety of traditional Indian baked goods such as naan, roti, and samosas. Your main duty will be to bake and decorate these items according to specific recipes and customer preferences.

To excel in this role, you must have a passion for baking and a strong understanding of Indian cuisine. You should also have excellent time management skills to ensure that all orders are completed on time. Attention to detail is essential as you will be responsible for maintaining the quality and consistency of our products.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare various types of Indian breads and pastries according to recipes.
- Decorate baked goods with traditional Indian ingredients such as spices, nuts, and fruits.
- Ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and taste.
- Keep track of inventory levels and restock ingredients when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop new recipes or modify existing ones.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a baker, preferably with a focus on Indian cuisine.
- Knowledge of traditional Indian spices and ingredients.
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ USD per month.

Location:
