Job Title: Entry-Level Information Security Analyst


As an Entry-Level Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and information systems in our company. Your main duties will include conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and risks, implementing security measures, and monitoring security incidents. You will work closely with the IT department to ensure that all systems and processes are compliant with industry standards and regulations.

To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of information security principles and best practices. You must also possess excellent analytical skills to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. A degree in computer science or a related field is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who is passionate about pursuing a career in information security.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity or potential security breaches.
- Investigate security incidents and provide detailed reports on findings.
- Work with the IT team to ensure that all systems are properly configured for maximum security.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, threats, and best practices in information security.
- Assist with developing disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of a cyber attack.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of information security principles and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willingness to continuously learn new technologies and stay updated on industry developments.
