Executive Chef - Kenyan Cuisine

We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team in the vibrant city of Ar-Ruwais. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a menu featuring authentic Kenyan cuisine. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency and innovation in all dishes
- Create new seasonal menus that highlight the best of Kenyan cuisine, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain a high level of culinary excellence
- Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and ensure proper sanitation and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Collaborate with management to plan special events and promotions that showcase Kenyan cuisine
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve the restaurant's menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of Kenyan cuisine including traditional dishes, cooking methods, and spices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure
- Creativity and passion for food with a keen eye for detail
- Fluent English communication skills

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1700 per month along with opportunities for bonuses based on performance.
