Job Title: Librarian



As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library resources and services in our library located in Manama, offering a salary of 1500$ with visa sponsorship open to all nationalities. You will be responsible for ensuring that the library operates efficiently and effectively, providing a welcoming environment for patrons and promoting library programs and services.

Your main duties will include classifying, cataloging, and maintaining an organized system of books, media, and other materials. You will also assist patrons in finding materials and provide guidance on how to use library resources. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring the budget allocated for new acquisitions and making recommendations for purchasing new materials.

The successful candidate should have a degree in Library Science or a related field, along with previous experience working in a library setting. Strong organizational skills are essential as you will be responsible for maintaining the organization of the library's collection. Excellent communication skills are also necessary as you will be interacting with patrons on a daily basis.

In this role, you should also have excellent computer skills and knowledge of library software systems to assist with circulation activities. Familiarity with electronic databases and online research tools is also preferred.
