We are in need of a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator for a contract position in Bergen. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes to move materials and complete construction projects. You must have prior experience operating heavy equipment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will also have experience with maintenance and repairs of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes according to project needs
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine project requirements
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Communicate with team members to coordinate project tasks effectively

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of basic mechanics for maintenance purposes
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
