Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced Mechanic to join our team in Mombasa. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vehicles.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on vehicles
- Performing tune-ups and engine overhauls as needed
- Using diagnostic equipment to identify problems and make necessary repairs
- Keeping accurate records of all work performed on vehicles
- Communicating with customers to explain repairs needed and provide cost estimates
- Ordering necessary parts and supplies for repairs
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations while working on vehicles

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Mechanic in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and repair techniques
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this position.

Location:
This job is located in Mombasa, Kenya.

Preference:
We welcome applications from Canadians or Filipinos who have experience working as Mechanics. However, we are open to considering applicants of any nationality who have the required qualifications and experience.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with working hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Some overtime may be required on weekends or evenings.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide accommodation for this position. Applicants should have their own housing arrangements in place if they are not local residents.

Visa:
Applicants must already have a valid work visa for Kenya, as we are unable to sponsor visas for this position.
